Legal, privacy, and accessibility
The terms on which this website is provided, how personal information is handled, and how to request this content in another format.
Disclaimer
The content of this website is general information about Canadian immigration, refugee, and citizenship processes. It is not legal advice, it is not advice about your particular circumstances, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for a consultation with an authorised representative.
Immigration law, program criteria, government fees, published processing times, and departmental instructions change frequently. Any figure, deadline, or criterion described here may have changed since it was written. Confirm anything you intend to rely on against the current official source before acting.
The interactive tools on this site, including the pathway screening tool, the limitation period calculator, the physical presence estimator, and the relationship evidence audit, are planning aids. They apply general rules to figures you enter. They do not assess eligibility, do not account for your history, and are not a substitute for advice. They run entirely in your browser; the information you enter is not transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Using this website, or sending an enquiry through it, does not create a representative and client relationship. No such relationship exists until a written retainer agreement has been signed by both you and the firm.
No representative can guarantee the outcome of an immigration application. Nothing on this website is a promise or a prediction of any particular result.
Privacy
What we collect through this website. If you send an enquiry, we collect the name, contact details, and description of your matter that you provide. We do not require identification numbers, and we ask you not to send them, or documents, until we have confirmed a secure method.
Why we collect it. To respond to your enquiry, to assess whether we can assist, and to identify any limitation period. If you become a client, information is collected and used for the purpose of preparing and advancing your matter and to meet our professional and record-keeping obligations.
Disclosure. Information about a client is disclosed to the Government of Canada or to a tribunal only as required to advance the matter and on the client's instruction, and otherwise only where disclosure is required by law. We do not sell personal information and we do not disclose it to a sponsor, a family member, or any third party without instruction.
Retention and security. Files are retained for the period required by our professional obligations and are then securely destroyed. Records are held with access controls appropriate to their sensitivity.
Cookies and analytics. This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not build a profile of visitors. If web analytics are enabled in future, this section will be updated to say what is collected and how to opt out. Note that fonts on this site are loaded from a third-party font service, which will see your IP address as part of that request.
Your rights. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask that inaccurate information be corrected. Write to admin@hf-imm.ca. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Regulatory information and complaints
Hamayun Immigration Firm provides immigration consulting services through a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, the national regulator established for that profession. You can confirm any consultant's licence, status, and disciplinary history free of charge on the College's public register.
If you are dissatisfied with our service, please raise it with us in writing first so that we have the opportunity to put it right. If it is not resolved, you may file a complaint directly with the College. Details of the complaints process are published at college-ic.ca.
